Coaches & Officials Center

Thank you for considering becoming a coach/official for Junction City Athletics. Deciding to become a coach/official is a huge decision and one to not take lightly. However, when you do decide that coaching is right for you it is very rewarding and a worthwhile cause.

Here is some information about what is required to become a coach/official for Junction City Athletics.

At a minimum all coaches/officials must fill out a coaches/officials  application, then submit for a criminal background check, and then complete the Concussions in Sports training, every year.  Depending on the sport there may be some adjunct training that we would like our coaches/officials to complete. All required training and the criminal background checks must be complete prior to the start of practices or games.

All coaches/officials including assistant coaches must complete the training. Below are some links for you to complete the required background check and training. The cost of any training and the background check are paid for by JCA at this time.

Step 1

The background check and application are the same application.  Click on the background check to fill out and submit the application and background.

Step 2

Someone from JCA will contact you when your application and background checks are complete.  Then you will need to take the Concussion in Sports online training, after completing, email a copy of your completion certificate.
