Thank you for considering becoming a coach and/or an official for Junction City Athletics. Deciding to become a coach/official is a huge decision and one to not take lightly. However, when you do decide that coaching/officiating is right for you, it is very rewarding and a worthwhile cause.

Coaches

All coaches must fill out an application, submit a criminal background check, complete a child abuse prevention training, and then complete the NFHS Concussions in Sports training, every year beginning in August.  Depending on the sport there may be some adjunct training we would like our coaches to complete. All required criminal background checks and training must be completed prior to the start of practices or games.

Below are the three steps and links for you to complete the required application, background check, and training. The cost of any training and background check is paid for by JCA, at this time.

Officials

All officials are not required to take a criminal background check or to complete the NFHS Concussions in Sports training.
